The Calgary Tool Library is a tool lending program that brings community members together to build and learn while sharing tools, skills and knowledge with one another.
Operated by a group of volunteers, the Tool Library’s purpose is to develop, maintain, and enhance the Tool Library and tool library related programming. The main goals of the library are to:
- source high quality residential tools
- lend tools to residents
- maintain and repair tools in the collection
- support learning and empower people in the use of basic home tools
